Opening Statement

Nash Hutter is Co-Founder of Big League Clean, a former professional baseball player who carried the discipline, preparation, and accountability of elite athletics into a category most people associate with the opposite.

The Origin Story

Nash grew up in Los Angeles. Before commercial cleaning, his career was in baseball — competitive, performance-driven, and built on the kind of daily preparation that separates a roster spot from a watching-the-game spot.

Pro sports teaches a few things that translate directly into running a service business. Standardization. Accountability for results. The fact that talent only matters if you show up ready every day. Teams that win do not win because they are more talented than the competition. They win because they prepare harder, hold each other accountable, and execute the same way in the 8th inning of a regular Tuesday game as they do in the playoffs.

After baseball, Nash moved into sales and business development. The skill that mattered most there was the same one he learned in the dugout: figure out what the other side actually needs, build a real plan, and follow through. That work translated directly into client acquisition and retention.

When Nash and Matt Christou co-founded Big League Clean, they brought a “big league” standard into commercial cleaning — an industry where most clients have been burned by vendors who showed up impressive on day one and faded by month three. The pro athlete background is the differentiator. Most cleaning company founders did not come from environments where consistency was the only thing that mattered. Nash did.

His Role at Big League Clean

Nash leads client relationships and business development across every Big League Clean market. The work breaks into three areas:

“At the highest level, you don’t out-talent the other team. You out-prepare them. Cleaning is the same way. The companies that win are the ones that show up ready every day, with a real plan and accountability they can actually deliver on. That’s what we built.”

Why This Matters for Clients

Nash brings the same discipline and accountability he developed as a professional athlete to every client relationship. When he says Big League Clean will show up, he means it. For facility managers and property managers who have been told one thing during the sales call and lived through another after the contract was signed, that consistency is the part that actually changes the math.
